Something not working, or not making sense? Write to us. We are three people, so it may not be instant. But a human reads every message, and we aim to answer within two working days.
01 I can't get into my account
On iPhone, Wilding signs you in with Sign in with Apple, so there is no password to reset. On the first screen, tap I have an account (or, inside the app, Settings → Add an account), then Sign in with Apple with the same Apple ID you used before. If you chose Remain anonymous, there is no account to get into: your practice lives on this phone. But if you tapped Sign in with Apple while setting up and then chose another way, that sign-in still made an account. Sign in with Apple again to use it, or to delete it.
Email sign-in is paused during the beta. If you made an account with email in an earlier beta and you are still signed in, nothing changes. If you have signed out, you can't sign back in to it from the app for now. Write to us from that address at hello@mooneyecollective.com and we'll help.
02 I paid for PRO but don't have it
Open Settings inside the app, tap Become a Tender (PRO), and choose Restore purchase at the bottom. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the purchase. If it still doesn't unlock, email us your receipt and we'll sort it out. During the beta, PRO isn't on sale yet, so there is nothing to restore.
03 How do I cancel PRO?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancellation happens there rather than in the app.
- iPhone: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Wilding → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Wilding → Cancel
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. But tell us if something went wrong, and we'll help where we can.
04 Delete my account and data
Open Settings inside Wilding and tap Delete account. That permanently deletes your account and everything linked to it on our servers, and erases the practice kept on your phone. Timer sessions you logged stay only as anonymous counts, with nothing that points back to you. If you used Sign in with Apple and have signed out, or you signed in with Apple while setting up and then chose another way, the quickest way is to sign in again with Apple and delete it in Settings. If you can't get into the app, email us (from the address on your account, if you can) and we'll delete it for you and confirm when it's done.
Without an account, the same place says Erase this phone's practice. It erases your days of practice, journey progress and the offerings you've marked from this phone, and removes the Vision commitments held under the anonymous ID on this phone. For an anonymous ID this phone no longer holds, see How long we keep it.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel that with Apple or Google first (see above). It also doesn't remove Wilding from the apps using Sign in with Apple. You can do that in your Apple Account settings on your iPhone.
05 Audio won't play, or stops when I lock the phone
Journeys and timer sounds are meant to keep playing with the screen off, even with your ringer switch on silent. If they stop, check your media volume and where the sound is going (speaker, headphones, or Bluetooth), and whether another app or a phone call has taken over the audio. Journeys and timer sounds stream, so they need a connection each time. Tenders can tap Keep offline on a Journey to play it without one. Lesson films pause when you lock the screen, by design. Still stuck? Send us your phone model and iOS or Android version.
06 Notifications aren't arriving
First, open Settings inside Wilding and look under Practice. Each kind of notice (the evening reminder, moon phases, and on iPhone new recordings) has its own switch. If you chose Not now when Wilding first asked, those switches are off. If Wilding shows an Allow notifications or Turn these on button there, tap it.
If Wilding says notifications are off in your device settings, tap its Open Settings button and turn them on for Wilding. Once you have declined the system prompt, the phone will not ask again.
The timer cue, the evening reminder and the moon notices are scheduled on your own phone. New-recording notices come from us, and reach iPhones only for now.
07 I have an idea, or found something broken
Good. Beta builds have a feedback button inside the app. That's the fastest route, because it tells us which screen you were on and which build you're running. Otherwise just email us.
08 Something came up in a Journey
Journey work can surface strong emotion or memory. That is not a malfunction, but it does deserve care. Go slowly, and reach for support if you need it: a therapist, a doctor, an elder, a friend.
Wilding is not healthcare and no one here is monitoring it for emergencies. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency number, or in the United States call or text 988.
